A Journey Through Love and Loss- We shared a deep bond—talking from morning till night, sending endless messages
I came to the city in 2006 from a small village, carrying big dreams but facing many struggles in the beginning. Life took a beautiful turn when I joined a well-known Company. Those days were filled with joy and meaning, especially because of a special person who entered my life.
We shared a deep bond—talking from morning till night, sending endless messages, and exploring the city together. Parks, beaches, theatres, churches—every corner of the city had memories of us. I even took her to my hometown. Life felt complete, smooth, and full of love.
But one day, everything collapsed. While I was on duty, I called her around 3 PM. The phone rang, but there was no response. After several attempts, her elder sister answered the call. When I asked where she was, I was told she had gone to her house. I was confused—wasn’t this her house? Then came the painful truth: she was getting married to someone else.
My heart shattered.
Without thinking, I rushed to her home, only to realize she had already left for her husband’s house. I cried. I shouted. I couldn’t believe it. That day, everything inside me broke.
I returned to the office, but I couldn’t focus anymore. My emotions were overwhelming. I started losing control, getting angry with my co-workers without reason. Life began to feel like a dark, empty wilderness. I couldn't carry on with work, so I resigned from my job.
After that, I wandered aimlessly, holding on to memories that wouldn’t let go. I often sat by the beach late into the night, thinking about her, tears rolling silently down my face. I cried out loud many times, trying to release the pain.
Even now, the tears come—not out of weakness, but like a quiet companion reminding me, “It’s okay… you’re not alone.”
